Drop Rate is a hardcore band from Lansing, MI. Inspired by bands of the 90s like Snapcase and Quicksand as well as bands of the late aughts like Backtrack and TUI. For their second EP, Cheap Fantasy, Drop Rate’s main focus was to expand on their bouncy and fun foundations while adding more genuine angst and aggression.
