Drop Rate is a hardcore band from Lansing, MI. Inspired by bands of the 90s like Snapcase and Quicksand as well as bands of the late aughts like Backtrack and TUI. From the beginning, Drop Rate set out to make something bouncy and fun. The goal was to make a batch of songs they loved playing that would allow them opportunities to be more active parts of the Michigan hardcore scene. Featuring current members of Foxgrave and Silktail as well as past members of Thrashin in the Streets, Drop Rate plans to continue to push themselves to create fun and exciting hardcore songs inspired by their peers Snakeout, Bad Beat, Doubt It and Bitter Truth as well as their aforementioned predecessors.
